In July 2000,
the procedures that have made it possible
to admitt new partners to ISBEM have been
completed. The new partners are the Hospital “Di
Summa” of Brindisi, the General Hospital of
Oslo, the University of Anversa and the University
of Oslo, the LUM of Casamassima, the Local Health
Center Lecce 1 and Lecce 2, the SALUS Clinic of
Brindisi, the private Nursing Home “Città di
Lecce”, the Commune of Ceglie Messapica. Other
Corporate bodies, University Departments and
Common of the Region Puglia have expressed, with a
letter of intents, the wish to belong to this
society. |

| AGREEMENT BETWEEN ISBEM AND COMMUNE OF MESAGNE |

In October 1999 it has been concluded the Agreement with the
Commune of Mesagne aimed at the creation of the
GLEI Project (ISBEM Epidemiological Working Group);
it has been co-financed by
the Commune of Mesagne, by the ASL BR1, by
the Local Education Office of Brindisi and by
basic ISBEM.
On the basis
of the principles of the Project Healthy Cities,
epidemiological studies are being carried out
concerning the use of the alcoholic drinks, the
alimentary habits and the sexual knowledge among
the student population of Mesagne.

| AGREEMENT BETWEEN ISBEM AND THE INSTITUTE OF CLINICAL
PHYSIOLOGY (IFC) |

|
In January 2000 the Agreement with the Institute of Clinical
Physiology (IFC) of the CNR (National Research
Council) has been defined. Such Agreement is
finalized to projects relative to Computer
Integration and Clinical Engineering (SPERIGEST
and DITA Projects) aimed at implementing and
integrating the managerial and governmental
aspects of the Health Centers, with the optimal
use of the instrumental biomedical resources, as
well as with the Computerized Clinical Briefcase,
creating the bases for the constitution of
Intercenter Departments.
Projects for the diagnosis, the care, the
monitoring and the quantification of the risk of
cardiovascular disease, the estimative
epidemiology, the genetics of populations and the
study of non invasive imaging techniques for the
optimization of the diagnostic and therapeutic
runs.
The IFC-CNR of Pisa, with the support of the
IFC-CNR Section of Lecce, has stipulated three
Research Agreements with ISBEM Partners (ASL BR1,
Hospital "Di Summa " and ASL LE2) in
order to implement - under the aegis of the
Ministry of Health, in a three-year time and with
isoresources of the same firms - the innovative
aspects of the SPERIGEST and DITA Projects (medical
and technological side).

| COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN ISBEM AND THE eBusiness
Management School-ISUFI |
|

|
It is a strategic Partnership Agreement between ISBEM and eBMS
focused on Knowledge Management connected to the
development of virtual organizations in the Social
Health System of the Region Puglia and of the
neighbouring Mediterranean Regions.
The Agreement concerns the setting up of
modalities integrating the experiences and the
competences e-Business and e-Services of the
e-Business Management School-ISUFI with the
competences and knowledges of ISBEM on the
problems connected to the organizations of the
Social Health System.
The objective of the Agreement is to produce a site of excellence
to promote the diffusion of the " new
management " in the health organizations.
In order to reach such objective, a Task-Force will be created with
people from ISBEM, ISUFI and IFC-CNR. Such Task
Force will be formed of experts in planning and
organizing sanitary systems, in health economy, in
systems engineering, in business processes and in
setting up e-Business architectures and
technological platforms (Internet platforms,
Intranet, Extranet).

| AGREEMENT ON RESEARCH ACTIVITIES BETWEEN ISBEM AND THE
SALUS CLINIC |

|
The purpose of the Agreement between ISBEM and the SALUS Clinic
is to favor the research activities in the field
of managerial experimentation so as to constitute
a public-private assistential technological
Intercenter department.
Furthermore, both ISBEM and the SALUS Clinic intend to recruit and
support young researchers who will learn to
implement the studies management, guaranteeing the
optimal start and the implementation of research
projects in collaboration with hospital
institutions, universities, ENEA, CETMA, CNR,
public and private sanitary firms, as well as
Region Puglia, MIUR (Ministry of Education of
University of Research), Health Ministry and
eventually other Offices or institutions
interested in the research and development in the
biomedical and sanitary sector. |
